Job Description – Deputy Manager – Audit

About the Role: 

The Assistant Manager – Audit will be responsible for leading audit engagements for clients across industries. The role involves high level of exposure and direct interaction with finance team from the client and independent handling of audits. Will report to the Audit Managers and Partners, as and when necessary.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting statutory audits, tax audits and group reporting audits for clients across a variety of industries.
• Deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including timely preparation of audit plans and related documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with the applicable Standards on Auditing (Indian / International) and the applicable financial reporting framework / GAAP (Indian GAAP / IFRS / German GAAP etc.).
• Maintain the highest levels of ethical, technical and professional standards.
• Responsibility for working in teams and supervising article students as required.
• Building and maintaining professional relationship with the clients
• Participate in trainings for the audit staff on technical / non-technical topics and act as a mentor for article students
• Should be a team player with good interpersonal, communication and project management skills including working in teams

Must Have:

• 2-4 years of post-qualification work experience in the auditing stream.
• Good knowledge of Standards on Auditing (Indian / International) and the financial reporting framework / GAAP (Indian GAAP / IFRS).
• Ability to work in teams on client engagements.
• Willingness to learn new technical aspects and travel to client locations outside Pune as and when required

Nice to Have:

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

He/ she must have experience in statutory audit of private limited companies during articleship / post articleship .
Should not be appearing for CA exams in near future.
candidate should be currently available in pune.
Male candidate preferred.
